Moonrise Bay

Moonrise Bay is Knotts Island’s newest vineyard. It is a family operated venture formed by Kate and Richard “Oakie” Morris. The vineyard began in 1997 and held its first harvest in 2000. You’re invited to visit for tours and tasting.
They’re open from noon to 5pm daily.

Wine & Art Festival

Cost is $20 per person. Visit with local artists from d’Art Center in Norfolk and Artists from Currituck, Dare and Pasquotank counties in North Carolina. Entertainment by Julie Clark, Acoustic Folk/Pop, Voted Artist of the Year in 2003 by the Virginia Music Awards.

June 24

Celebrate Summer with The Touch.

A four piece dance band from the Outer Banks of North Carolina. Energy, enthusiasm, professionalism and great sound are hallmarks of this band of veteran musicians. They cover Soul, Rock, Blues, Country, Oldies and Originals – as long as it’s Dance Music! Each member has been a professional musician for at least 20 years, so expect the best – that is what you’re going to get!
